What exactly do StortEskens do? Primarily we specialise in the sales and support of high quality point of sale and factory tinting equipment. The focus of our business is the sale of CPS COLOR/COROB equipment and colorants. They are a leading supplier of tinting systems and equipment and we have been working with them as their exclusive UK & Ireland agents. We also represent Collomix, the well-known German shaker and mixer manufacturer. Recently we have expanded our portfolio to include a number of process machinery suppliers. Many of these suppliers serve the paint and coatings industry in which we are already present, but several are dedicated entirely to new industries.

What services do you provide to your customers? Where possible we try to take care of every aspect of the customers tinting needs, from the initial consultation through to the installation of equipment, subsequent maintenance and supply of spare parts. We are the only dedicated company in the UK responsible for the full service of tinting machines, and we are there to support everything from standalone installations to companies with multiple installations. Recently we have expanded our services to include re-conditioning and sales of second-hand machines. We are now also able to offer weekend service support and 24 hour telephone assistance.
What are your thoughts on the future of Tinting? The basic concept of Tinting has remained fairly consistent since its introduction but technologies are constantly changing. We see an ever increasing demand for low price, reliable machines and we have also seen a large increase in requests for re-conditioned machines. Since the recession companies have been looking in depth at maximising efficiency and keeping stocks as low as possible, hence we have seen a strong push towards the “tinting during filling” concept. CPS Color are a Global leader for these larger-scale integrated systems.
