By 1994, Martin moved to Los Angeles, California and landed a role on NBC’s sitcom Getting By, fol- lowed by a role on the daytime soap opera General Hospital and bartender and singer Miguel Morez. A year later, Martin released his third solo-album A Medio Vivir, which proved that Ricky Martin the musician was an interna- tional success. This albums success went Gold in the U.S., Switzerland and France and made Platinum in France and even made 4X Platinum in Spain.
