The award-winning Children of Uganda introduce us to their rich East African heritage through pulsating drum rhythms, quicksilver movements, and songs of joy and hope. Ranging in age from 8 to 18 years, this troupe is composed entirely of children and teens who, like 1.7 million of their peers, were orphaned by war or AIDS. Thriving in the face of adversity, these gifted performers move and inspire students with their exuberant and infectious brand of story, song, and dance.
