“Thumbs up to Mrs. Elliott for planning and organizing the games for the Family Math Night at GMS! This is your second math event of the school year. Your first grade Mathapalooza was also a HUGE success! Your time and effort is greatly appreciated. We are lucky to have such a creative and talented professional at our school! You continually go above and beyond making GMS a better place!”
“Thumbs down to all of the people who think ‘not guilty’ means ‘innocent.’ All that means is that the defense attorney did a better job than the attorney general at presenting their case. He may have been found not guilty, but he is certainly not innocent.”
“Thumbs down to the ignorant people in this
town who think that Chief Lavoie got to decide whether or not charges would be brought against Don Breault. That is the job of the Attorney General’s office, it is THEIR decision. If you are upset then contact their office, but calling for Chief Lavoie’s resignation is ridiculous.”
“Thumbs up to the Campbell High School Key Club for organizing Campbell’s very first Coffee House event! The student performers were nothing short of amazing, the refreshments were delectable and the whole evening invigorated the Cougar Spirit! What a great event for such a worthy cause!”
“Thumbs up to the Senior Class at CHS for hosting a night of ‘hair-raising’ fun with everyone’s favorite Disney character! What a great family event. The students were so friendly and courteous and the treats were delicious! Thank you!”
“Thumbs up! for the Fox Hollow board for
having condo fees lowered while at the same time beautifying the property. In this day and age, it is unheard of fees going down. The board is an unappreciated group and should be lauded for their efforts in containing costs while helping improve property values. In this tough real estate market, those who wish to buy in Fox Hollow are remarkably high. Keep up the great work!”
“Thumbs down to people who try to justify using the R word, they just don’t get it.”
“Thumbs up to everyone who had a kind comment to our daughter as she stood outside the polls with signs protesting the proposed school budget in an effort to save her beloved teachers’ jobs. Your encouragement of her efforts was wonderful.”
Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down? “We want to be your Mechanic”
Donnie Breault, I’m sure he is going to be suing the police department and the city. Now us citizens have to pay for their mistakes.”
“Thumbs up and down: More than a plea, the fullness of thee, Come into my mind, heart and soul Lord Jesus. We are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ.”
“Thumbs down to Rob. Do the right thing, pay them back.”
“Thumbs up to the Hudson elderly couple who actually stopped at that stop sign and let me jog through. Even though it’s the law, not everyone obeys it and I’ve almost been hit twice in the last week. Thank you for stopping.”
“Thumbs up to our daughter,
who stood for more than five hours in the cold on election day in peaceful protest of the proposed school budget which cut teacher jobs. Although your efforts ended in disappointment, you stood up for what you believed in; and for that we are so proud of you, dearest, loveliest Christina.”
“Thumbs up to the Campbell High School ‘Coffee House’ evening. Incredible performances by such a talented bunch of students: fantastic original songs, hysterically funny poetry, incredible blues guitar
playing...can’t wait for the next Coffee House!”

“Thumbs up to Miss Kristen in the children’s room at Rodgers Memorial Library. She does a wonderful job teaching the Toddler Time and Lapsit Lullaby classes on Thursday mornings. She is excellent with the children and goes out of her way to make the class enjoyable for all who attend. Thank you and keep up the great work!”

“Thumbs down to the local ‘family owned & operated’ Towing Company in Hudson. You have made quite the adverse name for yourself! What happened to the Beautiful, Friendly, Well Spoken Asset you had to your company? There is proper protocol when it comes to business etiquette. Sweet talk is inappropriate. You advertise as ‘towing’ not an escort service! Find your professionalism and keep Business & Pleasure separate!”

“Thumbs down. You really
have no clue, yet you jump to conclusions and shun me. You owe me an apology. If you think I’m so bad after hearing me out for just two minutes, well then, I guess maybe I should just leave.”
“Thumbs down to the person(s) in the Mazda who smashed my mailbox Friday night on Winnhaven Drive. I have your side view mirror. You want it back, you replace my mailbox. I believe a mailbox is cheaper than a side view mirror and you won’t get an inspection sticker without it.”
“Thumbs up to the Bill of Rights and freedom in America!”
“Thumbs up to the Litchfield U9 lacrosse team on their 1st Game. I’m proud of you all for your hard work and playing as a team. You did Litchfield and the game of lacrosse proud! Coach Eric.”
“Thumbs up to the Brownrigg
family. Your ‘6,999’ Easter Egg Hunt is always a fantastic time. Every year you go above and beyond to make the neighborhood smile. We appreciate your hard work and months of preparation. It was a beautiful day!”
“Thumbs up to Alvirne High
School for achieving the ranking of the best high school in New Hampshire for the second time in 11 years. I hope all of you
who gave them a ‘thumbs down’ for their musical program ‘Cabaret’ (by the way, one of the best programs in the state) have acknowledged this prestigious award. Now I hope you are enjoying the egg on your faces; and these are not Easter eggs. Way to go, Alvirne!”

“Thumbs down to the people that continue to think that ‘assault clips,’ guns, etc. are the problem. Responsibility, education and proper social support are the solution. Should fast cars be eliminated because one person speeds? Should soda pop be eliminated because one person gets fat? Should all sports be eliminated because one person gets hurt? Life is experience and learning what one can accomplish with good parenting surrounding and keeping our youth safe (as can be). The problem is not the item, it is the illusion that taking things away from people will protect
you...it will not.”
“Thumbs down to the librarian at the new Rodgers Memorial Library for denying my student help when he asked to be pointed in the right direction for his research. Pointing to encyclopedia and turning a cold shoulder doesn’t provide any student with the excitement and knowledge of the mystery between the pages. All that money on a new library and you couldn’t take a second to explain the Dewey-Decimal system?”
CHRISTMAS tree! AMEN!” “Thumbs down to the repair shop on Lowell
Road. A $600 unauthorized repair was made, when asked to correct the problem, their response, go find a lawyer. I’ll do you one better, I’ll find an honest repair shop and take my business there. Do the math, you lost more money by losing my business than you would have lost by correcting the problem. Instead of recommending you, I am warning others to stay away!”

do want to thank you for letting us voice our opinion towards our new House of Representatives members that are Republicans and our new senator who voted down Medicare and also Medicaid for our young children. How are we going to afford another $20,000 dollars to pay for our own insurance. They are wrong to be voting against us.”

brown van that refuses to slow down for me (orange Pontiac) when I’m turning into my driveway on 3A/Webster St. First time you came up behind me, honking your horn and flashing your lights because I wouldn’t turn into oncoming traffic, and the second time you went careening around my vehicle and off the road to get by me without slowing down. Keep it up! Next time I notice you
behind me, I’ll be sure to go out of my way to make sure you can’t pass me, and I might just take a little longer to turn than normal!”
“Thumbs up to AT and UC who let me stay with them and have a fun weekend! And to Jasmine and Simba, of course! And, happy birthday Uncle Chris!! Love Pokey!”
“Thumbs down to parents at NWES taking their

“Thumbs down to the comment about the ‘assault clips.’ Are you trying to say that a gun with only a 6 round clip won’t kill people? Do you understand how ridiculous you sound? Guns don’t kill people... people do! What if I didn’t like your car because it has ‘200 HP’...well jeez that car can go really, really fast as opposed to a car with only 100 HP. I’m telling you that you have to drive that one. How would you like it if people started telling you what to do and what not to. If that person who owns the ‘assault clip’ kills a person then he pays for it. Not all of us. Oh and I don’t even own one, but stop trying to take my liberties away.”

“Thumbs down....way down, to the dentist on call, Easter weekend, in Hudson. My husband had an emergency and waited for the ‘on call’ dentist to call us back. Seven hours later... still no call back. It’s pretty sad... when the answering service has to tell me…’I’m warning you...Dr. So & So doesn’t always call back.’ Ended up at the ER, two days
in row, for IV antibiotics. I’ve been going to this practice for years. Recommended them to friends and family...but no more. We’ll be looking for a new dentist. Now their phones aren’t working... can’t call to complain. How convenient.”

“Thumbs down to the not so bright individual
who made a comment regarding “political dads” in the LMS rec. baseball. It is quite obvious based on the verbiage used by this individual that I have forgotten more about baseball then you know. Here is a fact...Dads coach all-star teams. This will never change. Fact #2- their kids are usually the better players, therefore they will make the All-star team. Fact #3- A number of kids are playing AAU
