ance to the sounds of the John Bennett Band when the group returns to MAC Saturday, June 18 from 8:30-11 p.m.
The group has been playing in the Portland area for the past 30 years, and is known for its quick tempo specialty number, Jump, Jive and Wail. Members may enjoy music of the ’20s, ’30s and ’40s as the band plays a mixture of music to swing, waltz, rumba, samba and cha cha to.
Before the band plays, every- one may learn how to dance the samba from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Test Knowledge at Upcoming Trivia Night
Wednesday, June 8 at 7 p.m. T
Rain Madrone, UC Berkeley graduate and long-time trivia enthusiast, guides members through a battle of the brains with skill and humor. Teams of up to six people compete in a series of questions, testing a wide variety of knowledge, both useful and not. Smaller groups can join together to make up a team. Scores are tallied after each round, and a gift certifi cate to the Sports Pub is awarded to the winning team. The exact length of the game depends on the number of players, but participants should expect around two hours of fun. Trivia Night is held right outside the Sports Pub. No registration is required, but arrive early to guarantee a table. There is no cost to participate.
