Serving international markets from its base in Kent, Cammegh has established a small intimate network of distributors. In South and Latin American markets, Hector Collazo of Caribbean Gaming Distributors has recently begun working with Cammegh to deliver local customer service, while a long-standing relationship in France is enjoyed by Cammegh with local distributor Jean Luc Profumo of Proced. However, for the most part Cammegh choose to serve international customers directly. In markets such as New Zealand and Australia, for example, two countries you could not place further from England, Cammegh has forged strong bonds in markets that are heavily invested in the game of roulette. "It is essential that we serve certain markets directly," insisted Mr. Cammegh of the company's customer base in Australasia. "The knowledge and the understanding of the game is very acute. They know the subject incredibly well and as such we believe it is important we deal directly in those markets."

Since first pondering upon the practicalities of improving the design of the roulette wheel, Bill Cammegh and his sons have continued to innovate; to push the envelope in the pursuit of perfection.

Their genuine interest in making every aspect of their portfolio the very best possible product for the customer is probably the biggest single reason for their success. "Innovation is literally at the centre of our wheel with the maintenance-free for life bearing. The first wheel that my father made, incorporating as it did curved pockets, was different from anything anyone had ever produced," stated Andrew Cammegh. "That innovation continues today as we finalise the roll-out in the UK for almost 100 Billboard displays for Gala Coral, the majority of which are linked to Mercury wheels. From our wheels to our displays, everything is part of our wheel-centric innovative approach to delivering the best experience for operators and players alike."

ALL-ENCOMPASSING PRODUCT While some would argue that live roulette is something of a narrowing niche, Cammegh's expansion into automated wheels and Internet-specific products has meant that the company has kept pace with the changing tastes for roulette across a host of delivery mediums. The company has shown that it takes seriously all aspects of roulette, having developed its hugely successful Slingshot 2 automated wheel, a staple of the finest multi-player roulettes, Cammegh has also newly launched the Mercury 360 RRS (Random Rotor Speed) wheel. "Operators streaming live roulette games over the Internet have, in the past, had to cut

The Mercury 360 RRS wheel delivers upon the two biggest questions posed by operators regarding performance and security, as it randomly changes the rotor speed while in play. The wheel improves revenue and security for Internet operators and with a whole new iPod generation of players visiting land-based locations, with a view to gaining advantage within live gaming premises, there is an increasing interest for offline operation. There's also an ongoing movement towards the future in combining both live and Internet games streamed from in-venue wheels. For operators with a mind to future-proofing their investment, the Mercury 360 RRS is a product that we're likely to see much, much more of in both online and live operations.

"Roulette is the only casino game where the shuffle is performed in front of people's eyes," explained Mr. Cammegh. "If players are seeking to gain an advantage in this area then we have to

short the time players had to bet on each game, as they were at potential risk of players using the ball and rotor speeds to gain an advantage," described Mr. Cammegh. "Companies such as Evolution Gaming have seen a 20 per cent improvement in productivity as a result of switching to Mercury 360 RRS wheels, which allows them to call ‘no more bets’ at the normal time while maintaining absolute security."
