approval for its products in the US state of Nevada. The licensing of its products in Las Vegas is a commercial decision, but one also borne of a desire to show customers just how serious Cammegh is about its products. "We know that roulette is not the main game in Nevada," stated Mr. Cammegh. "Slots are the engine room of Vegas and we're not going to change that, but the volume of tables is on such as scale that you still see multiples of roulette wheels on each casino floor. We understand that this is a long-term commitment, but it's one that we are passionate about. We make decisions based on the fabric of our business for the long-term. We believe that approval in Las Vegas will push the company forward. We don't make tables or sell cloth. Instead, we understand our product completely; the heritage, the quality and the relationships. We're in this for the long-term."

Having exhibited in Vegas for almost 20 years, it has been a frustration to Cammegh that it has been unable to access the marketplace for so long. "In the past we have made ourselves comfortable with that frustration, but now feel that if we’re serious about our business we need to be in Las Vegas. The approval process alone represents a major commitment to the gaming supply industry, not just in Nevada, but internationally aswell." commented Mr. Cammegh. "Gaining approval in Vegas is a long-term investment that will vent the

frustration of having to turn away so many customer enquiries in the past. But now we are excited about being able to take our products into locations in Las Vegas where we look forward to getting really creative in a market that has such an appetite for customisation and theming."

THINKING OUTSIDE THE WHEEL The creation of its invisible in-rim sensor might have put Cammegh at the forefront of innovation, but it also creates a dilemma for Gaming Commisions around the world. The roulette wheels created in Kent are no longer just masterful pieces of wood and metal-working skill, but also high-tech pieces of equipment. The combination raises multiple questions in regards to classification, especially when you link today's wheels with terminals to drive live multi-player gaming. Heap on top of this further innovations such as Cammegh's PowerPlay, which generates multiple random events direct from the wheel, and there are now numerous criteria with which Cammegh's products must be scrutinised in order to gain jurisdictional approval.

"The question raised by the UK Gambling Commission regarding our innovative PowerPlay feature, relates to whether the additional random data is generated mechanically, or via software," explained Andrew Cammegh of PowerPlay’s recent approval. "The Commission quickly identified that it is an extension of the

TRADITION MEETS HIGH TECHNOLOGY Cammegh's new Mercury 360 wheel is the perfect example of the blending together of craftsmanship and technological excellence. Its wide range of security features ensures that operators are given all the tools they need offer games with complete security. Now into its third iteration, the Cammegh Mercury wheel was the first to introduce in-rim sensors into a live roulette wheel. Today, the evolution of the Mercury wheel has led to the creation of a product that isn't just a pretty face. Cammegh's Mercury Wheel Manager enables the operator to connect directly to the wheel, giving a forensic level of information about the wheel and the state of the game.

"You can see the evolution from the first Mercury wheel to this incarnation," stated Mr. Cammegh of the 360's development. “The depth of knowledge in this wheel is remarkable as it addresses all the issues raised by the game of roulette. All our understanding, all the things we have learned have been poured into the
