E-Service receive positive feedback

E-Service Italia (E-SI) has made an immediate and very positive impact in the Italian gaming sector, and has earned significant support from operators and manufacturers, who have been appreciative of E-SI’s customer-focused philosophy. E-SI is already repairing hundreds of client- owned items each month, including coin validators, hoppers, bill acceptors, TFTs and printers and all items are returned to clients with a full 90-day guarantee. “The feedback has been very positive and constructive” said Managing Director Colin Veitch. “Our team in Bologna has been working extremely hard to deliver the E-Service package of benefits in Italy, and I am delighted these efforts are being recognised by our clients.” Highly popular has been E-SI’s ability to offer service and repair under major manufacturers’ factory warranty – for example, Italian clients are able to have JCM bill acceptors, TransAct printers and other core products repaired under warranty at the E-SI facility in Bologna, saving time and money.

Gauselmann party funds shown ‘legal and honest’

On Tuesday April 12, 2011, Germany’s Bielefeld public prosecutor’s staff visited the Gauselmann Group’s premises. The visit was prompted by public speculation concerning the legality of contributions to political parties by Gauselmann Group managers. The public prosecutor examined comprehensive documentation of such contributions from 2005 to 2011. The public prosecutor’s staff also questioned leading managers at the Gauselmann Group who had made party contributions. They concluded that all such contributions could be clearly assigned to the persons making them. Likewise, the political parties were correctly informed of the

procedure upon receipt of the contributions – that these were single donations from company employees and merely being forwarded by the company. This meets all German legal requirements.

On conclusion of this investigation the matter was dropped, as the legal and factual circumstances so warranted. Company founder Paul Gauselmann, expected no other conclusion. He stated that he understood that the authorities had to investigate the matter thoroughly, not least in his own interest. “I’m pleased my employees and my company have been shown to be entirely innocent of any wrongdoing” he concluded.
