Everite Windows, a REHAU Authorised Partner based in Hoylake, has been named Trader of the Year by Wirral Trading Standards.

The prestigious local award, which recognises the company that received the highest level of positive feedback from customers, was presented to Sales Manager Mark Scudder recently by Councillor Gail Gardiner from Wirral Borough Council.

There are more than 90 companies approved

by Wirral Trading Standards including four other replacement window companies and a range of trades including plumbers, electricians, builders and locksmiths, all of whom have undergone an intensive vetting procedure in order to be accepted.

The standard of service provided is therefore

very high across the scheme and it is a testament to the outstanding performance of Everite Windows that it has been judged the overall winner for 2010.

Mark Scudder, Sales Manager for Everite Windows, said: “We have a very simple philosophy at Everite of providing our customers with the best possible products and service at the right price all year round.

“We’ve always believed we offer an unrivalled

level of service to our customers and now we have the proof to back this up. From our sales team to the lads in the factory and our fitters to the customer care team, I was proud to accept the award on their behalf and would like to thank them for all their continued hard work.”

Sheila Normington, the coordinator of

the Authorised Partner scheme at REHAU congratulated Everite Windows on its success, adding: “Everite Windows is an excellent example of a REHAU Authorised Partner focused on quality and customer care.”

“We are delighted that they are upholding those

values so well and helping to enhance their own reputation and, by association, the reputation of the whole Authorised Partner scheme.”

Everite Windows invites all of its customers to complete a customer satisfaction questionnaire on the Wirral Trader Register website as soon as their installation is complete.

Customers rate Everite on a number of criteria including quality of service, product and workmanship as well as value for money. The results are monitored by Wirral Trading Standards

both to select the Trader of the Year and to ensure that standards are being maintained by all the Register’s members.

It's all happening at Southam based specialist contractor Alumet!

Since the launch of the company's EOS Energy brand last year and due to unprecedented demand

for their range of solar PV panels, Alumet are now rapidly expanding and seeking new staff, preferably with experience in renewable technologies. To cope with the increase in orders the Alumet Group could well end up employing in excess of 50 new staff this year alone.

Alumet's Managing Director Gary Summers has

never been afraid to diversify; earlier this year Gary was named 'Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year' and subsequent accolades for Alumet include the Midlands Sustainability Award, the CBI People Award and an incredible 'treble' success at The Construction News Awards. Gary said "We have always been a forward thinking company and are constantly looking into new facade systems, however the diversification into renewable technologies is our most exciting venture to date, we are proud to be offering employment to the local community - the future is definitely looking bright"

Alumet recently became the first SME in the Midlands to become a member of Business in The Community (BITC), the company was recognised as a "responsible business achieving commercial success in ways that honour ethical values and respect for people, communities and the natural environment". Alumet is one of the major employers in Southam and they will once again be

opening the doors to the public on July 15th for their annual open-day. Marketing Director Dean Walton confirmed "This year we will be hosting a Community Day at our facilities in Bourne End, we will turn the car park into a farmers style market and we hope to have a few special guests present, this year's event promises to be the biggest yet, everyone is welcome" Walton added "The public will able to view our full range of products and our staff will be on hand to offer expert advice on the Feed in Tariff (FiT) and how solar panels can actually make you money" Previous guests at Alumet' open days include HRH The Duke of Kent and TV botanist David Bellamy.

Southam councillor David Wise recently had a

PV array installed by EOS Energy and is more than happy to confirm the benefits and recount his satisfying experience to customers at his Coffee Cup cafe on Market Hill.
