Information Security Exchange Theatre Agenda

Day Two - Wednesday 20th April 2011

10:30-11:30 Unidirectional Security Gateways – Addressing Cyber Security Requirements While Retaining Operational Functionalities Session hosted by:

such networks. Speaker: Mr. Lior Frenkel, Co-Founder & CEO, Waterfall Security

11:45-12:45 Deploying An Encryption & DLP Solution – Lessons From The Field Session hosted by:

Network segregation is considered a foolproof method for protecting SCADA networks from external attacks. Unfortunately, employing this method mandates users to forego all benefits of connectivity; hence this method is not acceptable today as a viable security means.

Hardware based unidirectional connectivity is an interesting compromise between full connectivity and full segregation. Increasingly deployed in many industrial control networks within North America’s critical national infrastructures, Unidirectional Security Gateways are now becoming a viable option for protecting critical networks and any other secured network against any external cyber threat. In this session we will review the existing cyber security challenges and growing concern due to rapidly growing numbers of cyber-attacks and data espionage on National Critical Infrastructure. A detailed analysis of the advantages and limitations of unidirectional connectivity-based security solutions will be presented, containing architectures created when employing unidirectional connectivity security means. Additional analysis will be provided regarding the effects and requirements that unidirectional connectivity imposes on the methodology and use of applications employed on

Safend is honoured to introduce leading healthcare and finance IT security leaders that discuss their security challenges, the possible solutions, and their endpoint deployment experience. Andre Jansen, Information Security at Nedbank, a global bank based in South Africa discusses Nedbank’s Port/Device Control and subsequent Encryption decision and deployment experience while Nicola Gould, Information Governance Manager at Frimley Park, NHS discusses Frimley Park’s combined Port/Device Control & Encryption deployment and the value he finds in it.

This Session is recommended especially for DLP & Encryption practitioners, but also for all security minded audiences. Speakers: Ms. Nicola Gould, Information Governance Manager, Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Mr. Andre Jansen, Information Security Director, Nedbank South Africa

13:00-14:00 Cloud Computing: The Assurance Conundrum An interactive session that discusses the main challenges of achieving assurance in the cloud from the view of the Cloud Service Provider, and the end
