Nickname


It’s “Mac” here. But over the last three years in juniors, it was “Rick.” We used to call each other our father’s names. My dad’s name is Rick. It’s a pretty good idea and we really liked it.


Favorite NHL player growing up


Joe Sakic. I just loved watching him play and score goals.


Favorite Food Grilled cheese. (April is coincidentally National Grilled Cheese Month.)


Favorite Movie


I liked a lot of Adam Sandler movies, like “Happy Gilmore.” I’m a big fan of him and Denzel Washington. Anything with those two guys in it works for me.


Favorite TV show


“Dexter.” I have watched all five seasons and have them all on my computer. I’ve watched them all this year in the last couple of months.

I have been to a few places. I’ve been overseas for hockey a few times, to Russia, Germany and Belarus. Last year, I went to Cancun and had a lot of fun there. T

Other Sport You’d Like to Play I was a big baseball player. I played all the way up until I was about 14. I had to choose hockey and that took over everything. Baseball was a sport I really enjoyed and I played at a high level. I was a pitcher.


Place You Would Revisit in the Past


I would go back to high school again, do that all over again and be back with your friends. It’s hard to catch up with all your friends nowadays, being so far away.
