Dive Fest 2011 set to make a splash
Dive Fest is set to take the Cornish waves by storm with a fantastic line up of diving, dancing, fun & frolics.
Now entering it’s third year, Dive Fest has made a name for itself on the diving circuit as the UKs premier diving party, with this year set to be the best fest yet.
Taking place on April 29 - May 2, over the Mayday bank holiday, at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park, Mevagissey, the festival promises to entertain the masses from far and wide.
There will be loads of diving on offer over the three days of the festival from Hardboat and RIB diving to try-diving with the BSAC.
There will be a specially designed underwater treasure hunt to solve and some festival goers will be lucky enough to bag a free place on a specially chartered boat from kit manufacturers Apeks and Aqualung.
Bauer will be on-site throughout the weekend offering air-refills, so there really is no excuse not to get out there.
On top of the diving there is an amazing feast of entertainment on offer for the three party nights, so even if diving isn’t your thing you can still party the night away in the stage marquee near the beach.
In true British fashion the festival is inviting divers to celebrate the royal wedding in style with ‘afternoon tea’ being served on Friday afternoon, followed by a full blown top hats & tiaras themed celebration with the modern 4 piece party band Keiko Rise who specialise in storming nights!
Suunto Saturday promises to be just as lively with local folk/rock band Gallowglass taking to the stage to kick things off, followed by Rock The Party who are

guaranteed to fill the dancefloor and to top it all off there will be a curry dinner thrown in to keep those hunger pangs at bay.
Sunday night will finish the weekend off with a bang with a BBQ, an amazing array of fire dancing antics and lively ska band The Mighty Offbeats.
Evening tickets are available for both Saturday and Sunday so if youíre looking for a great party over the bank holiday weekend then look no further.
The whole weekend promises to be packed full of fun for all ages.
There will be some top diving exhibitors including BSAC, Malta, Bauer, Suunto, Apeks, Aqualung, Silent Planet, Oonasdivers and PADI.
There will be giant games, beach Olympics, circus skills, surfing simulators, survival courses plus much more to keep you entertained while taking a rest from diving.
Dive Fest invites you to come on down to Cornwall with your friends, family, dancing buddies and diving buddies for a weekend you donít want to miss.
Tickets are available for the whole weekend, as day passes or just for the evening entertainment.
