He was also a member of the New England Wood Carvers and was an avid golfer. Mr. Schwarzenberg also served his country with the Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Frances L. (LaGrange) Schwarzenberg. He is survived by his

daughters, Lana and her husband George Younker of Salem, and Karen and her husband David Miller of Windham; sons, Russell J. and his wife Paula Schwarzenberg of Salem, Gary W. and his wife Susan Schwarzenberg of Plaistow, and Randall and his wife Mary Ann Schwarzenberg of Salem; brother, Edmund W.
