London Portrait Group


April 5th 2011 – Martin Abela, Malta's first QIP is flying in specially to talk to the London Portrait Group. Martin has put together a special talk for the


group which is promising to be quite different to the style of work we normally see. His pic- tures from ‘Maltese Faces’ have appeared in the national press including The Times.


In light of the recent earth- quake and tsunami in Japan, the London Portrait Group will be donating all proceeds taken on the night to Shelter Box, an international disaster relief charity. It is the hope that the group will be able to purchase one, maybe even two Shelter Boxes which will really help one or two families in need. More information about this worth- while charity can be found on their web site: www.shelterbox.org Please make the effort to attend this night, not only will you have a rare opportunity to see one of Europe's top fashion and portrait photographers but your money will be going to help save lives.
