Winning the primaries


Bold use of simple graphic colours has been a feature of Henk’s work for some time – including strong primaries, which we can’t repro- duce here to their full strength and impact.


Some of these colours like the red, green, yellow and blue on the facing page work best when seen as digital files, really jumping out of the screen. As inkjet prints, they can be seen properly only when extended gamut inks are used. They go beyond the saturation and gamut of regular photo papers. But we can’t use hexachrome litho printing on these pages to so you’ll have to imagine the extra vibrance.
