On a cold and bright winter’s night, Teddy Horsley walked along the country road, wrapped up warm against the bitter elements. He listened to the wistful whisper of the moon sing God’s praises and exalt God for ever.
On a wet and rainy spring morning, Teddy Horsley knelt by the window, peering at the rain drops pouring from the sky. He listened to the pitter-patter of the rain sing God’s praise and exalt God for ever.
On a blustery autumn evening, Teddy Horsley danced with the leaves whipped up in his garden by the breeze. He listened to the rough roar of the wind sing God’s praise and exalt God for ever.
Playing in his house, Teddy Horsley saw Pickles the cat curled up contentedly by the warm radiator. He heard the patient purr of the cat sing God’s praises and exalt God for ever.
Playing in the park, Teddy Horsley saw Sam the dog chasing the rabbits and the squirrels. He heard the gruff growl of the dog sing God’s praise and exalt God for ever.
Playing in his garden, Teddy Horsley saw the bees dancing from flower to flower enjoying their bright colours and rich fragrance. He heard the bumbling buzz of the bees sing God’s praises and exalt God for ever.
Playing on his swing, Teddy Horsley saw the birds nesting in the trees and bringing food to feed their young. He heard the colourful chorus of the birds sing God’s praise and exalt God for ever.
Going to church for the Harvest festival service, Teddy Horsley stood alongside the bell ringers in the belfry. He heard the rich ring of the bells sing God’s praise and exalt God for ever.
During the Harvest festival service, Teddy Horsley went to watch the organist and to help him turn the pages of the music. He heard the mighty
music of the organ sing God’s praises and exalt God for ever.
During the Harvest festival service, Teddy Horsley sat down to listen to readings from the Bible. He heard the wondrous words of the reader sing God’s praises and exalt God for ever.
During the Harvest festival service, Teddy Horsley stood up at the front of the church to sing with the young people. He heard the cheerful choruses of the children sing God’s praises and exalt God for ever.
All around him Teddy Horsley heard all the creatures of the Lord lift up their voices to sing God’s praises and to exalt God for ever. Teddy Horsley lifted up his voice and joined in the Song of Creation.
