advice, support and guidance as part of a new initiative. The ‗Response to Redundancy‘ programme will


offer a mix of practical courses and one-to-one advisory sessions and is funded by the European Social Fund and the East of England Development Agency and delivered by tchc and Wenta, the local enterprise agency for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Sharon Gaffney, redundancy expert at Wenta,


said: ―Employers across the region are facing the difficult prospect of making redundancies and many people are in jobs that are at risk. ―The redundancy consultation period is a very


challenging time for those affected. This programme outlines the choices available and possible ways forward.‖ Employees at risk of redundancy can explore


both self employment and employment career options. Those looking for a new job can get help


connecting with possible employers as well as guidance on job applications, interview
