SAN DIEGO HUMAN DIGNITY FOUNDATION PRESENTS: ART AT THE WHITE BUDDHA LOUNGE One of San Diego’s newest indoor/outdoor hotspots, The White Buddha Lounge at Hillcrest’s Saigon on Fifth restaurant, is host- ing the initial exhibition of San Diego artist William E. Kelly. The opening reception on Friday, April 8 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. will feature a meet and greet with the artist. The White Buddha Lounge has waived all gallery fees, and 30% of all profits generated from the sale of the artwork will be donated to a fund managed by the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation (SDHDF) mylgbt- foundation.org. The SDHDF, founded in 1996, is committed to working with the community to improve the quality of life in San Diego’s LGBT community by promoting responsible philanthropy to enact positive social change. The artwork will be on display for the month of April with an opening reception from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8 featuring complimentary passed Hors D’Oevures and house specialty drink teasers along with Happy Hour pricing throughout the evening. There is complimentary two hour validated parking at the Union Bank underground lot on Fifth Avenue with any purchase and a suggested $5 donation at the door to benefit the Foundation.
