Thank God for the rain in Karamoja... :-)

right now in Iriiri and around, but reports say it's been raining in other places in the last 2 days...."OH WE THANK YOU LORD" for the Blessing of rains especially in this land... and in this time when fellow human beings had predicted a prolonged drought!

GUYS! .... I'm with him already... :-)

ABRAHAM. He has un-plaited his hair, and looks so good. He complaining of lost appetite... pray about that. We are also discussing education plans. He thinks re sitting his UCE (O'levels) would be best... coz his first results were not that good. There's also an option of doing Adult Literacy A’ Levels. PRAY: for more of God's Wisdom and guidance on this matter. I informed him of the many friends praying for him, and he said..."thank you all. Actually, that may be the reason why I've been able to resist cigarettes to this day" Continue PRAYING: about his health, every time he coughs, his head aches terribly, his chest still pains, and now that the rains have come, it gets cold and he feels

feverish. But he's positive, all will be well. ... he's actually heading to see a nurse, from here!

PLEASE PRAY:

for me to be patient as I long to learn my Karamajong. I desperately need to learn this language as it is a real barrier to my ministry. But I believe that in due time God will let me learn it. Honestly, I want to thank God that Abraham knows English, how else would I have b e e n a b l e t o communicate and make a strong impact on him. I have had almost similar opportunities, but the language failed me. Some guys know not more than Akaramojong ( thei r language)! Well, maybe, obviously, God never meant it for then. Thank you Lord that you know all languages and you give Wisdom without finding fault, to those

who ask of you in faith. In Jesus' Name. AMEN.

Abraham

I know you must have be en wai t ing for s ome t h i n g a b o u t Abraham today: OK, we linked up at his place, never got to talk much with his Auntie, Deborah, she just said hi, she had a tight programme today with women in the community. So me and Abraham got to talk much at his place. ... and like I informed you, he served me a cup of tea, he prayed for a Blessing u p o n i t ! WOW! Hi s cur rent main challenge is his health. It's all crumbling down on him... he feels. his body, chest, head, fever, cough... flu.. he's wonder- ing why it's all coming to him at this time. BUT he pledged.."I won't smoke... I know if I smoke this thing will reduce a bit, but I won't"... I PRAY HE

DOESN'T :-) We later linked up at my place for studying the Bible, we had some time to share from Scripture, he's amazingly not green about it. He can read well, and he's not afraid to share what he thinks of the text! He left with the copy of the Bible we use. I couldn't stop smiling... :- )

He's afraid he could be having Pneumonia ... so we are planning on a check soon, possibly tomorrow.

Well, well, well...

somebody asked me what happened to Abraham?! Actually nothing.. if I could say. He's sooooo good. The Lord has kept him well, his health is improving, he's stronger, but has kept away from any casual labour (which he used to survive on), as a caution for his aching chest. Unfortunately he failed to test for Pneumonia as hoped, coz there was no Chemist to do the test in the health centre lab at Iriiri. Just PRAY: that the chemist will show up soon, and also that Abraham's chest will be healed of the pain. And also that we may find another way, in case the chemist takes ages. Just for God to have His way!
