skills taught in class. Mrs. LaBenne and Mrs. Viglietta, two fifth grade teachers, agree that using the iPods and iMacs have added a whole new dimension to their classrooms! Their students seem to agree, as well.

We have written documents on an interesting application called Pages. We have also made songs on Garageband or made videos on iMovie. We have even taken pictures on Photo Booth and used them for presentations.”
A fifth grader, noted, “It makes everyday tasks easier!” Another fifth grader, noted how his iPod allows him to multi-task in the classroom, “It helped me get my work done faster because I do my papers and listen to the story at the same time.”
In March, the teachers will be learning how to have their students create their own eBooks- the ones that flip with a touch of a finger when read on an eReader device, such as an iPod, iPad, Nook, or Kindle. The learning never stops in iWellsville and the teachers have modeled that fact for their students!
