USTA senior mixed doubles league begins
The regular season USTA league and the super senior USTA league are going strong. The senior mixed doubles league begins Friday, April 1 and runs through the first week of July. Mixed doubles league matches are held Mondays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., generally on tennis courts 5-7. Be aware that occasionally men’s and women’s open play ends early on these courts. Regular season USTA matches are on Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Super senior league matches continue midday on Thursdays and Fridays.

Many MAC tennis players play in one or more of these leagues. The USTA league program has expanded throughout the years, and with teams trying to find practice courts, pre-booked matches and some clinics court usage is at an all-time high. Those who have trouble getting a tennis court to play a recreational match should keep trying, and remember to book their court online at
