Tennis Event Rewards Players, Spectators


P


articipants in this year’s club mixed doubles tennis tournament enjoyed friendly competition and spirited matches. Spectators witnessed inspiring play and sportsmanship at all levels. Many thanks to Tennis Committee members Jack Henry, Sally Lovett and Wayne Pickard for organizing the event. Thanks also to the various members of the Tennis Committee who were on hand to make sure the event ran smoothly.

Court reservations and usage


This year’s Tennis Committee dedi- cated considerable time and effort to updating and clarifying the court reserva- tions and usage policy. The full policy is posted in the three tennis viewing areas and also online at theMAC.com. Members are strongly encouraged to take a few minutes to read and digest the policy. Of particular note is the separation of wording pertaining to “reservations” from wording pertaining to “usage.” The policy is intended to help all MAC tennis
