Interview with Graham Trust of the Vow
On my way to the Philharmonic Pub on Saturday I was half-way down Wavertree Road when I saw from my watch that I was going to be late for my interview with Graham Trust. Horrified by my lack of professionalism, and cursing that last sausage roll that I just had to polish off, I dutifully got my phone out and dashed out a text to Graham, explaining that I was running late and would try not to keep him waiting. Expecting some sort of diva-like tantrum back instead I received a polite and pleasant text saying ‘No
worries! I’ll have a quick half before you get here!’
And that was where I found Graham, at the bar sampling some of the real ale delights that the Phil has to offer. I must say, I liked him as soon as I saw him and was impressed that he knew me from my rather vague description (I’m wearing a hat…I have glasses).
