VOX TAKE THE STAGE AT CAVERN CLUB

The historic Liverpool Cavern Club recently renamed its main stage ‘The Vox Stage’ in honour of the legendary British amplifier brand’s long association with the Cavern Club. Vox amps formed part of the backline during the Beatles’ lengthy tenure at the venue during the early 1960s and Vox are now the Cavern club’s official amplifier sponsor. Ray Johnson, the Cavern’s production manager declared his delight at officially welcoming Vox to the Cavern; “The Cavern and Vox. It’s like Romeo and Juliet: a classic love story! Not only is Vox part of the clubs amazing history, but it has been the preferred amplification on the ‘Famous Cavern Stage’ for nearly 10 years now. Most bands that play the venue either arrive with their own Vox, or request them. So it makes sense to give the bands what they want.” www.voxamps.co.uk PM
