Business to Business ■ Testimonials
Dear Roger, We thought you might like some feedback now that the March 2011 issue has been published. Many people have already mentioned the article to us – always positively. In particular we are getting very very positive comments on Ruth’s writing. Our daughter, who works in media relations and has a PR background, was particularly impressed. So please pass our thanks to Ruth and the whole team at Sussex Living.

Burgess Hill Means Business 2011
The Burgess Hill Business Parks Assocation (BHBPA) has successfully organised an exhibition of business for the past two years in the Martlets Hall, Burgess Hill. The event is to be held again this year on Friday May 13th. Spaces are limited, and at time of writing there are only 6 left. Last year a number of companies applied too late and missed out. This year the event is sponsored by Tracmaster Ltd, Nova Direct Mail and Sussex Living magazine, with Bright FM as media partner.
The BHBPA is proud of the strength of the business community in Burgess Hill and feels it is important to showcase the great variety of businesses here. We hope you will take the chance to be there on this exciting
day. In previous years there has been a tremendous buzz around the hall, and a lot of business-to-business networking has taken place. Indeed, in 2009 a £30,000 sale was agreed between two local companies on the day! This year, several hundred business visitors are expected to attend. Council leaders will be there and the local MP, Nicholas Soames, has kindly agreed to speak at the event. If you wish your company to be represented on the day, contact Peter Liddell on 07903 984366 or email
peter.liddell@
bhbpa.co.uk as soon as possible to book a stand. The cost to members is just £50 (£150 to non-members).
Dear Tanis, Just wanted to let you know how successful our advert has been this year for weddings. We had never advertised our venue for weddings before, and you really helped put us on the map. We are now fully booked for this year, and most of next year already. The ad really worked for Cowdray, and I am grateful for your input in making the ad so good.

Dear Roger I would just like to compliment you on your sales staff. We have been regularly contacted over the year by Tanis and she is always polite, well informed and encouraging without being pushy. As you can understand we must receive on average approx 10 calls a day plus e-mails from companies all trying to sell us something, be it advertising space or new products, few of whom take on board what we say about trying at a different time or that we are simply not interested and are often a times simply rude. As and when we do decide to market via a
magazine covering your area I can assure you that we will choose Sussex Living magazine because of the dealings with Tanis alone. I look forward to hearing from her in approximately 6 months.
