Seve’s signature MD GOLF WORK WITH A GREAT
The collaboration between Seve Ballesteros and MD Golf has proved a commercial masterstroke, with the Seve Icon range doing brisk business – especially on the continent. The 2011 range now takes in everything from metalwoods, irons, wedges and putters to balls, bags, gloves and socks – all featuring the iconic Seve-Man ‘punching the air’ logo. Pick of the latest models are the titanium Seve Icon High MOI driver which, along with matching steel fairway woods and hybrids, is now manufactured in one of the leading new foundries in Asia. The all-titanium driver features a black gloss PVD fi nish and a Proforce 65 gramme shaft, as standard, and represents incredible value at £129.
Meanwhile, the £60 Seve wedge line now includes a Santander model whose leading edge is ground completely straight (rather than traditionally curved) for those that prefer a much squarer alignment look at address.
