The College continues to work hard to improve its success rates and in 2009/10, success rates were: • 76% for Learner Responsive courses overall for the whole College (including Andover College).


• 91% for Employer Responsive Train to Gain courses overall for the whole College (including Andover College) compared to 86% nationally and 89% for Employer Responsive Apprenticeship courses (63% in 08/09) compared to 74% nationally.


The focus on raising standards and increasing the number of high grade passes resulted in Andover College celebrating its 2010 A Level results beating the national average for overall passes.


• 99.1% of students achieved a pass compared to the national average of 97.5%. •


Students scoring A to C grades at Andover College increased to 77.5%. 9.68% of the 77.5% were awarded the newly introduced A* grade for 90+% passes.


• Out of the 21 A Level courses offered at the College all but one achieved a 100% pass rate. Nine of those achieved 100% high grade passes.
