The College holds the matrix quality standard for information, advice and guidance for both learner responsive and employer responsive provision.


The College is proud of its recognition as a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in two industrial areas, namely:


- Game, Wildlife, Countryside Management and Fishery Studies - Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing.


The College has strong links with the industries which it serves. The College was one of the six colleges in Hampshire and IOW to achieve ‘Action for Business Colleges’ accreditation (A4BC). A4BC is concerned with how well a college identifies, meets and follows up on the training and development needs of employers and businesses. The College is in the process of achieving the Training Quality Standard (TQS) which has been introduced nationally to replace A4BC and the CoVE designations.
