Center seeks views of residents, family in annual survey


esidents and family members have an opportunity to share their


impressions about the care and services provided at Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village by participating in a confidential survey. Each spring, the Good Samaritan


Society, which owns Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village, surveys residents and family members to gauge their satisfaction in rehabilitation, skilled care, assisted living and senior living settings. The survey is conducted by My InnerView, an independent third- party vendor. Residents and family members will soon receive a survey in the mail. The survey includes a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Results must be returned to My InnerView by April 22.


“We hope that we can count on


your participation to help us identify ways that we can satisfy our residents and their families,” says Brenda Janda, administrator at Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village. Once the survey results are compiled, the center will compare its data with other Society locations, as well as with similar centers in the state and across the nation. Reports from the survey also will be reviewed locally, regionally and at the Good Samaritan Society’s National Campus to help identify ways services can be improved. “It is important that we have feedback


from families and from residents,” says Brenda. “Our goal is to provide excel- lent service to the people living in our communities, and our residents and their families are the best source of informa- tion to tell us if we achieved that goal.” In last year’s survey, residents and families said Good Samaritan Society locations nationwide compared favor- ably to other care centers in the areas of overall satisfaction, says Laura Feige, director of quality services at National Campus. Survey results also indicated residents and family members were willing to recommend Society centers as a place to live or receive care.
