Thai Café turns 1
Chandler’s Thai Café celebrates its fi rst year in business with March specials, including free dessert, live music and discounted drinks. On March 19, the restaurant thanks the community for its patronage by offering a free Red Ruby dessert – crunchy mock pomegranate in iced coconut syrup – with the purchase of any entrée.
On March 26 Guitarras Latinas perform contemporary live music from 7 to 11 p.m., and throughout the month Thai Café will offer domestic beers for $1.95 and imported beers for $2.95.

Throughout March, blood donors who “maximize their impact” at Chandler’s United Blood Services will receive a voucher for a complimentary four-pack of muffi ns from Mimi’s Café.
“MAX” donors help United Blood Services meet the needs of Arizona hospital patients by using an automated donation procedure by which whole blood is separated in a self-contained, single-use “blood donation kit” that ensures the process is completely sterile and safe. Specifi c blood components are isolated in transfusion bags, while other components are returned to the donor.
