A Hidden Jewel of Educational Excellence
When most people drive by the Tabernacle Baptist Church on Route 102 in Litchfield, they are unaware that a thriving Christian school operates inside. Many who receive a tour of our
campus are amazed at the size and layout of the school, but our greatest pride comes from the lives we are impacting for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It has been rightly stated that nothing is more dangerous to a child’s development than a poor education. Students, especially of elementary age, who are constantly exposed to humanistic teaching on a daily basis, cannot help but be influenced by it because their minds are moldable and hungry for information.

A good Christian education is designed to challenge the student academically and also to demonstrate the truth of God’s Word in all areas of learning. Proverbs 1:7 states, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” The cost of a Christian education is balanced out by the potential problems that other educational options pose. Therefore, Tabernacle Christian School exists to assist the Christian home and the local New Testament church in the rearing of children by providing a sound academic and spiritual atmosphere for a Christ-centered education. We utilize a range of Christian curriculums. Elementary programs are built around the A Beka Book as well as the Bob Jones University Press curriculum. These programs are supplemented by some secular texts in the secondary

level, but are never used without Christian criteria firmly in place. We are approved by the American Association of Christian Schools, and our athletic program participates in the New Hampshire Association of Christian Schools, offering girls’ volleyball and girls’ and boys’ basketball. As part of their educational experience, classes often take field trips to points of interest around our school. Besides regular field trips, our student body is involved in many extra-curricular activities, including sports camps, community outreach, clean-up projects, and fundraisers. The highlight of these events is the annual senior class trip to a foreign country. Graduating senior classes have had the privilege of visiting and ministering in Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. These trips broaden students’ horizons, assisting them to see God’s glory and direction for their lives.
Our heritage of spiritual and academic excellence is evident in our graduates who are currently involved in ministry and employment around the country and the world. Many have left our halls to serve in the military and attend Christian colleges and universities or even secular schools to prepare for their life’s work. Several of this year’s graduating seniors noted the caring faculty and godly environment as reasons why they greatly enjoyed their experience at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Our classes span from K-3/4 through 12th
grade. We also now offer a full-time daycare for children too young to be in our kindergarten program. This program runs all year. For more information or to set up a time to
enroll your child, contact the school office during our normal office hours (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.), or visit our Website at

I grew up in the Salem community in a great family, and I consider myself very fortunate to be raising my family in the same community. It is a special honor to be involved in the Salem community and build a business that supports numerous communities in Southern New Hampshire. My parents taught me the importance of identifying and providing for the needs of the person you are working with and encouraged me to follow my dreams and be the type of person that makes others better. I am proud to be able to service the needs
of my customers and I am very proud of every employee on my team. They are dedicated and give back to our community without being asked. Santo Insurance and Financial Services focuses on listening to our clients and providing them with the safety and security in knowing that their insurance and financial needs have been understood and that their affairs are in order.” Find out what makes Santo Insurance &
