Chief medical officer for Wales Tony Jewell wants people to think about where they get their medical help
to 40 per cent of people coming in by ambulance in recent times. The Choose Well campaign should complement Save A&E ForWhen YouNeed It, and uses acolour-coded thermometer to help people. “When asked, people gave us a
very strong message thatthey weren’t reallyaware of all of the services thatexisted, or how they should be used,” said Dr Tony Jewell, chief medical offi- cer forWales. “We hope this campaign will proveuseful in helping people.”
