Town of Pembroke - (540) 626-5333 The famous Cascade Waterfalls are located in the Little Stony Creek Valley in Pembroke. The two mile hike up to the Cascade Fall is beautifully landscaped by nature in wild azaleas, rhododendron and mountain laurel. www.pembrokeva.org


Town of Rich Creek - (540) 726-3260 Rich Creek is considered the “Gateway To Giles County,” near the borders of Mercer County and Monroe County, West Virginia. Rich Creek holds its well-known and anxiously-awaited harvest festival known as AutumnFest each year in September. www.richcreek.org


Town of Glen Lyn - (540) 726-7075 The Town of Glen Lyn is located on the state border just south of West Virginia and hosts the annual Henry Reed Memorial Fiddler’s Convention and an annual horse show. The park also hosts a flea market every weekend during the summer and fall. www.glenlyn.org


White Gate A quiet little drive through the countryside should include a detour through the small community of White Gate. White Gate has become a favorite des- tination for many visitors, renowned for its wide, green valleys of farmland and old homes. There is also an Amish community in the area that offers farm fresh vegetables, homemade breads and jams and quality crafts, and a few other locally-owned small businesses.
