Gordy and Judy Harper are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Gordon to Travis Collum. Ashley is a nurse at Haley Veterans’ Hospital and a graduate student at USF. Travis is a senior at USF studying Criminology. The couple met while students at Citrus Park Christian School. Ashley and Travis are members of Idlewild and attend the Young Professionals Bible Fellowship Class.

Christian Essentials is a class for new believers, which meets Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room, east of the Worship Center.


Mac and Joyce McDougall celebrate 65 years of marriage on March 9. They were introduced in 1944 at a 4th of July party at the home of Joyce’s parents and married two years later in Valdosta, GA. Today, they are the parents of our own Worship Instrumentalist Leta Juckette (Tim) and Executive Pastor Brian McDougall (Diana), and grandparents to Logan and Lauren McDougall. They have been members since 1975. Joyce has been a faithful member of the choir and the Skopos B.F. class. Mac is a deacon, and they both participate in the Watchman on the Wall prayer ministry.
