Ray of Light preschool joins Penny Drive

Students at Ray of Light Christian Preschool in Chandler are joining thousands of Arizona schoolchildren statewide who are collecting pennies to clean the Arizona Capitol’s copper dome for the upcoming Centennial celebrations. The dome will be brought back to brilliance as it serves as the centerpiece for the state’s Centennial celebrations. The students “are excited to play an important role in the 100th celebration of Arizona’s statehood,” says Cristina Haney, director of Ray of Light. “Raising pennies to clean the copper dome affords benefi cial lessons about the history of our state as well as the importance of community involvement.” Ray of Light Christian Preschool is located at 800 W.
