Neighbors Free breast cancer screenings


Maricopa County residents who meet certain requirements may be eligible for free breast cancer screenings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., March 26 at Sam’s Club in Gilbert.


To be eligible, participants must be ages 40 or older and uninsured or unable to pay insurance co-pays of more than $100. Participants must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must not have had a mammogram within the last year.

Gilbert author launches new book


“Look to the Light: A Journal of Photographs and Poetry,” a new book by Gilbert resident Adele Catalani, mixes poetry and photographs to refl ect the author’s journey to inner strength and hope through diffi cult times.
