ILKLEY HARRIERS RACE LEAGUE
Since the last newsletter we have had two tough fell races in the Harriers Race League. Nick Pearce competed in both, but drops his Holme Moss points as only the top four results count. Although Nick seems to have a comfortable lead, a strong run by World Silver Medallist Norman Bush at Three Shires could still turn the fell result around! Overall, with 13 of this year’s races completed, Nick Pearce has the overall lead in the League.
The final races in this year’s league are: Sat 18 Sep, Three Shires fell 13 miles 4,000 ft; Sun 3 Oct, Harewood 10 mile XC/trail; Sun 7 Nov, Ben’s Run Ilkley, 5 miles road (see back page); Sun 28 Nov, Thirsk 10 miles road; Sun 26 Dec, Chevin Chase 7 miles XC/trail.

Andrew Bennett, Overall improvement, particularly his times at the John Carr races taking 7mins off time from last year
