As we were leaving Korbielow, and I was apologising to Norman for repeatedly having said over the weekend ‘it’s not usually like this’, we were handed a flyer
about next year’s event in Italy. And what did it say? Only 5k? Only 520 feet of ascent? A circular course? Two weeks later than usual? On a Sunday not Saturday? So, almost inevitably, I was unable to desist from letting slip once more ‘Well Norman it’s not usually like this’. Geoff Howard
