Bench Press the Best at March Competition
L
ooking for a little friendly rivalry? Try the 2011 Bench Press Competition, a tradition that has been going strong at MAC for many years. This year’s event is Saturday, March 12 to Sunday, March 27 in the Exercise and Conditioning Room, and includes a new 90-degree bench press competition in addition to the traditional free weight bar competition. Each participant is allowed three attempts to accomplish his or her best lift.
Join fellow members in the Bench Press Competition beginning Saturday, March 12.
Failure in any of those three attempts ends the trial, and the last successful lift is that participant’s final score.

a preliminary appearance at the MAC Children’s Holiday Party Dec. 18. One week later they were thrilled by the opportunity of a lifetime: performing on the Rockettes’ stage. A large contin- gent of MAC families enjoyed the dancers’ opening number, followed by the mesmer- izing and highly entertaining Rockettes Christmas show. The MAC Elite Dancers’ ticket sales raised $1,600 for their team development, and Radio City matched this amount with a donation to the New York City Dance Alliance college dance scholar- ship foundation. The MAC Elite dancers are looking forward to the upcoming competition season, as well as participating in several regional dance workshops.
