A-LISTS theatre

Every once in a while, you come across a

performer whose vocal talents and physical presence take your breath away, chang- ing the way you experience the stage. This month, San Diego gets that double dose of theatrical inspiration through the Diversion- ary Theatre’s production of …And Then I Wrote a Song About It (ATIWASAI). The centerpiece of this musical tour through

the ‘70s and ‘80s is Nick Cearley, whose ex- pressive voice and body stand out. The Rage Monthly was fortunate enough to steal an interview from the actor portraying Randall Klausner, the enchanting actor-singer-song- writer-dancer-secretary who is searching for love and fame.
