We need your help! Keith’s design has really impressed everyone who has seen it, from the judges at Burnley’s Annual Inventors Expo, to Barrowford based Standel Dawman who’s company donated £10,000 & his free time to produce the first batch of moulds. And even more recently whilst in Senegal & Gambia testing the eco-stove in different habitats, Keith was made an hounourable member of a tribe for his work by way of having a new born child from the village named aſter him - so impressed were the locals!
Te moulds are light-weight in design and can literally be air-dropped or posted to anywhere in the world and are ideal for disaster zones, be it famine, war, volcanos or floods. Te eco-stoves can be used for cooking or heating and the insulation material can be made up out of everyday materials found laying about like twigs, clay & dung. What’s more because of it’s unique design it uses 70% less fuel. What ideas2sustain needs now to ensure that the moulds get to the people that need them, is to guareentee their safety for use, funds are needed to ensure that extensive smokelessness tests are carried out to satisfy not just EU regulations but to ensure that eco-stoves can help anyone - anywhere in the world! If you feel you can help Keith by way of donations or support the please get in touch!
