A Day At The Beach A Night At The Theatre

Sandcastle Day • Cannon Beach JUNE 18, 2011

The Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce sponsors the 46th annual Sandcastle Day June 18. Be prepared to view sea monsters emerging from the deep, glorious castles and imagina- tive creatures as builders from around the country converge on the beach to prove their skills. From the elementary to the professional, all enjoy this event, whether sculpting or viewing.

Only natural materials, such as seaweed, sticks, shells or rocks may be used for ornamenta- tion. Contestants are organized into divisions by age, individual or team, and type of building implements used.
