2011 is BC Parks’ 100th birthday! Come celebrate with us. Make your camping reservation right now!
2011 is the 100th anniversary of provincial parks in British Columbia; the first park, Strathcona, was designated on March 1, 1911.
To mark this historic event, BC Parks will host celebrations and events all across the province. It will be an exciting year to come camping in BC parks.
2011 also marks a change in the start-up date for the Discover Camping reservation service.
Te opening date for making provincial park campground reservations will now be March 15th for all campgrounds and the Berg Lake trail.
Tis change will help us to more efficiently process reservations for the most popular long weekends in the summer.
Te three-month reservation window for making a campsite reservation remains unchanged.
Also new for this year, group camping and picnic sites will be reserved via Discover Camping. Reservations for group camping began January 2, 2011.

Te service is available:
March 15 to September 15, Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Saturday, Sundays and statutory holidays: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time)
Reservations can be made up to three months in advance and two days prior to arrival date (some parks may be reserved up to the day of arrival).
Reservation service charges are: $6.00 per night, to a maximum of $18.00 plus taxes, for three or more nights per campsite. Te reservation charges and campsite fees must be paid at the time of booking using Mastercard or VISA.
