WHAT SHALL I WEAR Laura Russell’s guide to the spring summer trends…

ß COLOUR: Orange, blue and white are Vogue’s key colours of choice but go wild with colour clashing combinations. ß MINIMALISM: Think plain shift dress styles worn on their own without jewellery and simple trousers with a tunic, shaped neckline top. ß PRINTS: From florals to tropicana, spots and stripes, you name it, there’s a print. This trend is about clashing random prints and there are no rules. ß 1970s: Retro knitted tank tops and flared trousers, billowing maxi dresses and crochet knits style looks back to the seventies. ß DENIM: Full on denim is not going away with pinafore dresses and new tailored styles appearing. New season jeans are best worn loose fitting and belted at the waist. ß SPORTS: Sports luxe is glam with see-through fabrics and sheer panels. More runway than running track. ß GREAT LENGTHS: Maxi dresses are massive this season in floaty chiffon lightweight fabrics worn with sandals.
