Corry Ammerlaan - van Niekerk has as artistic director of Artihove many special designs in her name. She has made works of art for reputed companies and institutions such as ING, Gasunie, Erasmus Uni- versity of Rotterdam, Sanquin Blood bank and Siemens. Human relationships and situations are always strikingly formed, they incite a visual tension.


From sketch to sculpture


A magnificent sculpture for the 20 year existence of Conpacksys. In honor of their twenty year existence, Conpacksys, specialized in the design of compression systems for the oil industry, wanted to thank the people involved both internally and externally for their efforts with a gift. And how could this be done better than by developing a meaningful sculpture exclusive for Conpacksys?


Artist Corry van Ammerlaan - van Niekerk Conpacksys was created in 1990, a com- pany with 7 disciplines. The work terrain is presented as stairs in the shape of an arch where the steps are formed by 7 spheres, the 7 disciplines from the logo. Both tech- nically and on the level of organization, the company is in emotional harmony. The logo that also represents the 7 disciplines as a broche pinned to the pedestal, adorns the sculpture.
