Out of School Activities


In order to unearth your child’s talents outside the classroom, we will encourage him or her to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.


Trips and Outings What better way to bring a subject to life than via educational excursions?


Whether it’s visiting local art galleries and museums or exploring local places of interest, your child will be exposed to experiences which compliments work done in the classroom and inspires greater understanding of the subject.


We also arrange educational holidays and trips. Your child could try out their skiing in the Alps, or test his or her physical abilities at an outdoor pursuit centre in the Lake District.


We regularly invite visiting groups to the school, so you can be confident that your child’s education will be memorable and interesting. Recent visitors have included the Young Shakespeare Theatre Company, Dramatic Attic and the ever popular Puppeteers.


Many clubs are organised after school, and the array of options on offer varies from term to term depending on the interests and enthusiasms of the pupils and staff. For example:

Before and After School


Children are cared for before school from 8.00am and after school unitl 6.00pm.
