The galactic shopping mall

Ripp Gunn has a job for the Starchasers — to find his daughter, Ella. But she’s on planet Trajan, which is nothing but one big shopping centre. They find two Ellas. But who is real — and what’s going on?

The lost explorers

The Starchasers have a dangerous mission — to rescue the space ship Red Star and its crew of six. The erupting volcano and the giant killer fish won’t make it easier!

The deadly virus

Somebody is making fake designer gadgets. Then the Starchasers’ ship The Lightspinner gets a bad computer virus. Is there a link?

The ultimate secret

It starts out as a normal mission for the Starchasers —to save a planet from some nasty insects. But when Suma finds out some big secrets about his past, things get tricky.

The jungle planet

The jungle on this planet can cover your spaceship in a few hours, trapping you forever. Not a good place to go, but the Starchasers are bored and broke, so they go for it. The next minute, Finn and Suma are fighting for their lives.

The planet of the vampires

It all started with some dodgy software. Then the Lightspinner’s life support gets knocked out. Time to make an emergency landing on an unknown planet! Just another day for the Starchasers!

The Starchasers’ Teaching Guide contains photocopiable work sheets covering all six books in the set one series. Each book is supported by eight work sheets that have been carefully crafted to engage and enthuse students. The activities have a literacy focus, but are designed around a variety of tasks that will appeal to 8–14 year olds. Teachers’ notes fully explain each work sheet and its focus as well as providing extension ideas.
