Due to retirement, London & Cambridge Properties seek to appoint an experienced, self motivated Centre Manager to lead and manage the above schemes to the highest standard in customer care and day to day operations. We are for looking a professional with a proven track record in Centre Management or Facilities Management.


Both Centres offer their local communities an eclectic retail offering comprising national retailers, prominent food stores and specialist retailers. Key to maintaining the success of the centre will be your leadership and development of the retail offering, exploiting opportunity through promotion and marketing to enhance the Centres for both our tenants and our shoppers. In addition, you will manage all operational contracts onsite and your technical input to day to day operations is critical to the continued success of the Centres.


You will be an enthusiastic professional who builds rapport easily, through excellent communication and possesses the dedication to manage the expectations and objectives for the Centres to make positive difference.

BUILDING SERVICES MANAGER 


Eastgate Shopping Centre is a thriving 750,000 sq. ft. scheme in central Basildon which benefits from over 100 tenants including Debenhams, Next, River Island, Top Shop, New Look, H&M, Primark and Asda.


An opportunity has arisen for a Building Services Manager, to take responsibility for all aspects of the building services and fabric, maintenance and repair. The role is key to the successful day to day operation of the Centre, ensuring that high standards are consistently achieved in relation to all services, including contracted cleaning and security, health & safety and environmental policy.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background of facilities management, preferably with a mechanical engineering or similar background, with experience of working in a retail property or shopping centre environment. Strong customer


focus and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of M&E systems plus experience of budget management are essential together with a building services qualification (preferably to degree level).


Reporting directly to, and deputising for, the Centre’s General Manager, the Building Services Manager will ensure the effective management of the building and be responsible for ensuring that the Centre’s high standards of operations and environmental targets are consistently achieved.
