Nolte presented a huge array of new kitchens in Cologne, with curves at the style forefront thanks to the SOFTform and SOFTline design elements. Highlights include the horizontally curved edges of the SOFTline cornices shown here on the Nova Lack 731 kitchen.

Bicolour fronts also stood out – a horizontal drawer line in contrasting colours to give a new multi-level sense to the kitchen aesthetic.

SieMatic has added a new offering to its BeauxArts range of kitchens. The original BeauxArts followed a very concise set of rules; that the most juxtaposed design styles could be paired together to create a new whole. BeauxArts.02 follows a similar rule yet with changes to the furniture design.

Created by SieMatic in conjunction with renowned international designer, Mick De Giulio, it has been designed for those who would like a more ‘transitional’ style than traditional.

The design of BeauxArts.02 is purposefully segmented; the cooking area is separated from the cleaning or preparation areas and depending on the segment, different materials, handles and dimensions are used for fronts and surfaces. This gives the kitchen the diversity of styles reflective of the BeauxArts architectural style, upon which the design concept is based.
