Quantum

Quantum Health magazine!

Welcome to another issue of Happy St Valentine’s day

This issue is capitalising on the flavour of the month; love! And we all can’t get enough of it.

Joan Parisi Wilcox has written a fascinating insight into of the science behind HeartMath, which illustrates how the heart does far more than is generally understood. It is a fascinating read and will really help us to focus on helping to get our HRV where it should be, thus improve wellbeing. Another article along the lines of love is from NLP practitioner and author Arielle Essex who explains our preconceived ideas of love, expectations, high and lows, and offers clear advice on how we can recognise the fundamental emotions that drive us forward to the state where we can readily receive love.

David Lawrence Preston has a wonderful article on love, all aspects of love, and what it is we are looking for in our quest. It is a humourous piece and hugely enlightening.

In Thornton Streeter’s regular column, he has included some astonishing examples of how, using a GDV device, love can be a tangible energy, and shown on a screen where the exchange can easily be observed.

On a lighter note we have some fun gift reviews which include items that are not what we

would necessarily immediately think of for a St Valentine’s day gift. And for the first time in Quantum Health magazine, we have included some recipes courtesy of the Vegetarian Society, all with love in mind.

The lead article this month is a brilliant piece penned for us by Chris Walton, MSc, author of Incredible You: Unleashing the Power of Your Beliefs and Intentions to Achieve an Extraordinary Life. He tells us why it is that, on only the second month into the New Year, many of us have a problem in following through with our New Year’s resolutions. This is an eloquent explanation as to how the subconscious and conscious can, at times, be in conflict when a new idea or thought needs to be changed. It explains a lot, and I for one will be looking at some repeating patterns in my life and asking my subconscious what it’s playing at!

There is so much more than I have space to mention in this issue, and I hope you enjoy to content and find it enlightening. If you would like to have your say on any of the articles, please email me at trina@quantumhealthmagazine.com and I’ll be happy to pass on your comments.
